Welcome to the website of the Australia-China Friendship Society (Victoria)! There is a lot of content here, and plenty more forthcoming as we put more of our organisation's rich and long history online.
The Australia-China Friendship Society is one of the oldest organisations of its type, established in 1951.
The aims of the Australia-China Friendship Society (Victoria) are:
- Cultivate friendly relations with the people of China by fostering the study of China's history, language, culture,
social and political structure.
- Promote mutual understanding through friendly exchanges between the people of China and Australia. Strengthening ties with travel, the exchange of ideas, information and trade between the two countries.
- To seek to clarify misunderstandings between the peoples of China and Australia, which may arise from the misrepresentation of information.
If you are interested in China or things Chinese, please feel free contact us or better still, if you agree with our aims, take the opportunity to keep up to date and immerse yourself by joining us! If you are a family or household, a student or an individual, retired or young, there will be plenty of activities for all to enjoy.
